Maine eCourts

**Please be advised all Maine eCourts services including eFiling, online traffic and criminal fine payments, and record searches through re:SearchMaine will be unavailable starting at 5 p.m. Friday, July 24th for planned maintenance. We expect services to be fully restored by 7 a.m. on Monday, July 27th.** Maine eCourts and eFiling is coming to all Hancock and Washington County Courts (Judicial Region 7) on Monday, July 27, 2026.

What is eCourts?

Maine eCourts is the Judicial Branch's new eFiling, online payment, electronic court records, and electronic case management system. Maine eCourts offers:

  • 24/7 access to eFileMaine (for registered attorneys, firms, and parties to submit and view their eFilings)
  • Electronic service of parties who have opted for eFiling
  • Online tracking by email for fast and easy verification
  • Payment of court filing fees online
  • Online access to many public court records
  • Online help for self-represented parties to submit documents and eFile in certain types of cases through Maine Guide & File.
