Chief Justice Valerie Stanfill to Deliver State of the Judiciary Address

AUGUSTA, MAINE. Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Valerie Stanfill is scheduled to deliver her State of the Judiciary address before a joint session of the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Maine State Legislature on Thursday, February 12.
DATE: Thursday, February 12, 2026
TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
PLACE: Maine State House, corners of Capitol and State Streets, Augusta (use the west entrance facing the Cross Office Building)
In her remarks, CJ Stanfill will highlight the important achievements the Judicial Branch has made in 2025 and chart the course forward.
Immediately following her address, CJ Stanfill will hold a press conference in the Governor's Cabinet Room at the State House.
