"Access to Justice: From Classrooms to Courtrooms" to Be Held at the Penobscot Judicial Center on October 22, 2025

AUGUSTA, Maine. The Maine Judicial Branch, the University of Maine School of Law, and the Maine State Bar Association, with the support of Alpha Legal Foundation, the Penobscot County Bar Association, and the Justice Action Group, are collaborating on an educational event that will provide over 100 students from five northern Maine high schools with an engaging learning experience on Maine's justice system and why young adults should consider a career in public service and/or the legal field.

Registration is at capacity for the program. Students from the following high schools are participating: Katahdin High School, George Stevens Academy, Hampden Academy, Foxcroft Academy, and Orono High School.
