STATE OF MAINE SUPREME JUDICIAL COURT
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER JB-14-1
Effective: March 10, 2014
Pursuant to its inherent power to control its docket and to issue rules, the Supreme Judicial Court hereby issues this Administrative Order directing that, on and after the effective date of this Administrative Order, all foreclosures by civil action in Cumberland County, which may be filed in either the Superior or the District Court pursuant to 14 M.R.S. § 6321, shall be docketed in the Cumberland County Superior Court and be assigned to the justices and judges of Cumberland County as designated by the Regional Judges.
Standards for the inclusion of Region II cases in the Foreclosure Diversion Program will be governed by 14 M.R.S. § 6321-A and M.R. Civ. P. 93.
The Supreme Judicial Court shall conduct, or cause to be conducted, a review of this Administrative Order within one year, and shall make and implement such further recommendations as it deems appropriate under the circumstances.
