CORE Training

To: Prospective Guardians ad litem Core Training Participants

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Fall 2011 Guardian ad Litem CORE Training.

Training Eligibility

***Important!: This year we are limited to 80 participants. In order to be eligible for a spot in this training, you MUST submit your completed GAL application form to the address listed below. Applications will be processed on a first come, first serve basis.***

Required Application Process:

1. As a prerequisite to applying for entrance to the training, please complete and submit the Guardian ad Litem Roster application.

2. Upon receipt of your roster application, this office will perform the necessary background checks and submit the application to the Chief Judge for pre-approval to attend the training. The Chief Judge will review all applications. Those who are successfully pre-approved will be notified and subsequently sent training registration materials.

3. Upon receipt of their training registration materials, applicants must then submit them to this office. The first 80 registrants received will be admitted to the CORE training.

4. Upon completion of the CORE training, applicants may submit a request to the Chief Judge to be placed on the Guardian ad Litem roster. The Chief Judge will review all requests, and you will be notified of your status.
